Santafixie Born Fixed Bike - Dirty Red Tracklocross

With the enthusiasm for filling cities with urban cyclists, and the experience gained in the design and assembly of the Santafixie Raval, we have updated our second bike model, the Santafixie Born. Inspired by the Barcelona neighbourhood after which it is named, the Born, a district whose historical character blends with cutting-edge design, modern architecture and street life.

The Born urban bike is an elegant fixie/single-speed bike with a frame that combines the aesthetics of classic road bikes with the lightness and strength of a modern 4130 Chromoly steel frame.

In this restyling of the Santafixie Born, we've kept the same geometry adapted for urban cycling, with a raised bottom bracket and a shorter top tube for riding in a more upright position, but have widened the wheel clearance. Available in 3 colours in the urban version and 3 in the tracklocross version.

The tracklocross version, in Dirty Red color, is a long-standing demand from our santafixers that we are happy to finally satisfy. It's a bike for getting muddy and dusty on the most demanding mountain trails and the most fun tracklocross tracks. We've fitted it with a flat mountain bike handlebar and gravel tires. Two essential elements for manoeuvring, drifting and accelerating safely on the slipperiest terrain.

All models are available in sizes 52, 55 and 58 and come with a 44-tooth chainring and 16-tooth sprocket set as standard. A perfect gear ratio for any situation.

We’ve been selling different models and a lot of accessories over 6 years now, which has let us meet, talk and share our experiences with city and bike enthusiasts. Contemporary explorers from over 30 countries, that made us realize that it’s time to keep growing and do our bit to build our ideal tomorrow – more bikes inside cities in order to create a better world.
