The Ortlieb Back Roller Classic QL2.1 Pannier Bag in Petrol is a waterproof pannier set designed for serious cyclists. The bags are made from durable PVC-coated polyester fabric and can endure tough weather conditions.

The bags are easy to attach to racks up to 16mm with the QL2.1 mounting system and offer extra security with an additional mounting hook. They also come with an integrated inside pocket and shoulder straps for easy transportation.

The bags are highly visible with reflective 3M Scotchlite reflectors, making cycling in low light conditions safer. The spacers accommodate tube diameters of 8, 10, and 12mm, allowing for easy attachment to any bike.

Each bag has a volume of 20L and measures 32cm in width, 42cm in height, and 17cm in depth. They weigh only 925g each, making them comfortable to carry on the road.

In 1982, Hartmut Ortlieb founded ORTLIEB Sportartikel GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany. The first ORTLIEB bike panniers were created in pure personal need for waterproof equipment. ORTLIEB’s first products were hand-made on his mother’s sewing machine: dry bags and bicycle panniers made of truck tarps.

In the meantime, the company has more than 140 employees, and ORTLIEB’s collection has grown to include over 500 individual products. Even today, everything is located under one roof: from development and design to engineering, production, sales, marketing, and shipment.
