Hiplok Lite Lock - Black

The Hiplok Lite Lock in black is the perfect solution for cyclists who need a reliable and secure way to lock up their bike. In addition to the chain, the Hiplok Lite Lock also has an 8mm hardened steel shackle and a steel lock body with a brass mechanism. This combination of materials makes it incredibly difficult for thieves to break through the lock and steal your bike. The lock also comes with three keys, so you can keep one with you and have a spare at home.

The Hiplok Lite Lock has a locking circumference of 75cm, which is long enough to secure your bike to a variety of objects. It also weighs just 1 kg, so it won't add too much extra weight to your ride. The lock comes with an impact-resistant, super tough nylon case that will protect it from the elements and keep it looking like new for years to come.

Two British Industrial Designers, John Abrahams and Ben Smith, living miles apart in London and Los Angeles respectively, both had the same issue - how to carry a secure bike lock without taking a cumbersome bag or needing to attach it to their bike or themselves in a damaging or unstable way.

They worked together on a solution, taking inspiration from bicycle couriers, and tested their wearable bike lock from the Californian canyons to the streets of London. The result was a unique product that bridges the gap between security, portability and versatility - the Hiplok™.
