The FabricBike City Classic Men's Urban Bike is the classic but timeless city bicycle. It has a fresh and modern style, adapted to the urban trends of our day to day. Design and functionality come together to make your bicycle rides agile and comfortable: The frame, saddle and grips are designed for riding in a completely comfortable position.
Its 7 speeds with Shimano shifters technology make it possible to climb any slope or incline without extra effort. As its components are aluminium, the total weight of the bicycle is less than 12 kilos.
Something you will surely appreciate is the detail of the double bar top frame in which the wiring is completely integrated into the tubes. Like any classic city bike, it comes with rear and front fenders, kickstand, reflectors, holders to place a bottle cage or lock, a chain ring guard that prevents stains on the pants and pedals with a double non-slip rubber layer.
Alejandro, founder of FabricBike, knew the fixed-gear world well when he decided to start the company. He had spent 5 years in the fixie capital of the world: London. He rode round getting to know the city and fell in love with life on an urban cycle.
These bicycles are designed for daily use, to cycle to university, to work or school, or just around the city. Make your city a bit greener, no exhaust or noise, with FabricBike.
This city bicycle with gears arrives around 80% assembled in a well-protected box. The most complicated is already assembled from the warehouse and the rest is very easily finished. You will have to install the front wheel, saddle and seat post, adjust the handlebars and place the pedals, though we recommend to have everything assembled by a professional.
When you take the bicycle out of the box remove all the protections and the front wheel that is attached to the frame. Then place the seat post and saddle in their corresponding place on the frame. The next part to place is the bicycle handlebars: tighten the stem screws and place the handlebars in the middle. Install the pedals on the cranks as follows: each pedal is marked with the letters L (left) and R (right) to indicate the side to be mounted. Place them slowly and carefully so as not to damage the thread of the crank arms. And finally place the front wheel in the fork dropouts and tighten the nuts.
You should have no problem with the assembly of the bicycle, it is quite straightforward. But if you are not confident in completing the assembly, we recommend that you take the bike to a nearby shop / bicycle mechanic so that a specialist can complete the assembly, and make sure you can ride the bicycle safely and assembled well for a smooth ride.
