Advantages of the FSA system
The Vitoria e-Nyx Hybrid is an electric gravel bike with an unobtrusive design, created to enhance your riding experience. The pedal assist system is quiet an lightweight, which gives the bike a clean look, very similar to a conventional gravel bike, both in aesthetics, position and weight distribution.
The frame is made of lightweight aluminium tubing from the popular Nyxtralight range and the fork is carbon.
The FSA System HM 1.0 is a rear wheel drive motor system with a compact design and low weight. It consists of a rear hub electric assist motor, a 250Wh battery unit, an additional expansion battery of 250 Wh, with a control unit located at the top of the frame for your mobile phone app.
Through the mobile app available for iOS and Android devices, it is possible to check the battery life, plan and record the route and perform GPS functions, as well as communicating with FSA service centres for on-site troubleshooting.
There are five assistance settings, including a green 'eco' mode and a red 'boost' mode, serving up to a maximum of 250W, while the motor itself features an integrated torque sensor and two speed sensors, which can easily adapt to different riding styles and changing conditions. Not only does it provide extremely responsive yet consistent assistance, it is also quiet, with an output of less than 55 decibels.
When the EU-imposed 25km / h electric assist limit (32km / h for the USA) is exceeded, the "FSA System" hub shuts down and exhibits minimal friction and drag in the drivetrain, allowing the pilot to experience a natural and free experience.
Vitoria Bikes is a Spanish company with a long tradition in the manufacture of bike frames by hand. Its founder Juan Vitoria was a professional cyclist and received a thorough training in the construction of bicycle frames. He bought Italian machinery in the same factory as the Eddy Merckx brand and dedicated himself to making steel frames.
After registering the brand in 1988, it has been acquiring new techniques in line with the evolution and diversification of the bicycle sector and is now also working with aluminium and carbon frames, betting mainly on an alloy aluminium 7129, reinforced with vanadium and titanium, two very light materials and very durable at the same time.
Vitoria: bikes made for life.
