Basso Bikes Palta Gravel Bike - Space Blue:
The Basso Bikes Palta Space Blue Gravel Bike is the Gravel model of the Italian brand Basso Bikes known for their high quality road bikes manufactured by hand in Italy. Their name is a word from the northern Italy dialect: "Palta" simply means "mud".
This bike has been designed from scratch; it's not based on any other model, a fact that resulted in an innovative geometry. The specially designed fork and the seatpost with shock absorber provide a very stable and comfortable position on the bike.
With a carbon fiber frame, tapered headset for great rigidity and very reliable disc brakes, it has all the characteristics of a gravel bike of the highest quality built with the newest technologies, tapered headset for greater rigidity and very reliable disc brakes. You can use tires up to 42mm thanks to the wide rear chainstays and for when you get thirsty the bike has space for three bottles.
Comfortable, stable, and very light, the high-end Palta gravel bicycle offers everything you need to hit the road and get dirty. And it looks incredible.
Perfectionism, quality and handmade excellence, that's the philosophy that Alcide Basso is following since 1977, the year Cicli Basso was founded. The principles that define the brand remain unchanged since then: Excellent craftsmanship, innovation in design and functionality, and top quality materials.
Basso exists thanks to Alcide Basso and the passion of its technicians for whom nothing is impossible. Their craftsmen create with extreme attention to detail, great precision and a tireless perfectionism. With their hands, their eyes and their hearts, they transform the building of a bike frame into a piece of art.
This bicycle comes in a well protected box, about 80% assembled. The most complicated is already mounted from the factory and the rest is quite easy to do. You will have to place the front wheel, the pedals, the saddle and adjust the handlebar.
At the top you will see a video where one of our mechanics explains in a few simple steps how to correctly assemble this. If you do not feel confident to finish the assembly, we recommend you take the bicycle to a nearby bicycle store/workshop for a specialist to complete the bicycle build.
