The Aventon Cordoba bicycle comes with a double-butted 6061 aluminium alloy, with the buttery-smooth welds, tapered headtube and fork and hydroformed seat tube for improved front-end stiffness and control when you're smashing on the street or track.

They have included an updated forged dropout design that provide a wider range of horizontal adjustment for your rear wheel. You can use this extra range to fine-tune the wheelbase to your preferences, or swap between a wider range of gear ratios without changing chain length. On the component side, Aventon used their proven Push groupset, including handlebar, seatpost, crankset, saddle, and wheelset.

Aventon Bikes is one of the few companies in this market that owns and directly controls their own manufacturing, Aventon has complete creative manipulation over frame innovation and design using hydro-forming technology, top-of-the-line flat position welding, hand polishing, and low temperature painting.

Hydroforming is a special technique that uses hydraulic pumps to inject fluid at very high pressure inside the aluminum which causes it to expand until it matches the mold. Hydroformed parts are made with a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio and it allows the aluminum to be shaped into a structurally strong piece for greater strength.

This bicycle comes in a well protected box, about 80% assembled. The most complicated is already mounted from the factory and the rest is quite easy to do. You will have to place the front wheel, the pedals, the saddle and adjust the handlebar.

At the top you will see a video where one of our mechanics explains in a few simple steps how to correctly assemble this. If you do not feel confident to finish the assembly, we recommend you take the bicycle to a nearby bicycle store/workshop for a specialist to complete the bicycle build.
